\nIt\u2019s true, sometimes our lives are complicated. Sometimes our family relationships are difficult, even if we had nothing to do with why they\u2019re so tough. At other times, the decisions we make complicate things. Sometimes our decisions are foolish and we live with the results — for the rest of our lives. Getting pregnant before being ready to raise a child is one of those decisions. Sure, you love your baby, but going to school and working and taking care of a baby makes your day complicated. Sometimes we make good choices, but good doesn\u2019t always mean easy. For example, if you take in your sister\u2019s kids, it\u2019s a good thing, but it adds complication to your life.<\/p>\nWhatever is true about you and your life, I know that a growing relationship with Jesus Christ will help you with the decisions you face. Whether those decisions are little or big ones, God\u2019s way is always best.<\/p>\n
That\u2019s why in the \u201cLord\u2019s Prayer\u201d Jesus taught us to pray, \u201cYour (God\u2019s) will be done on earth (with ME).\u201d (Matthew 6:10) God\u2019s will is always true and best for everyone involved, although that doesn\u2019t always mean it will be easy to follow. Sometimes it takes guts to do things God\u2019s way.<\/p>\n
In this issue of Reach UP<\/em>, you will read an interview with a woman who made decisions that were totally opposite God\u2019s will for her life (and the lives of everyone else involved too). She\u2019s been forgiven, but she tells us her story so others can learn from her wrong decisions. The wonderful thing about Jesus is that He forgives perfectly, healing our broken hearts.<\/p>\nJesus also understands your personal needs. So if you\u2019re looking for something to get your mind off your complicated world, maybe learning to crochet will do the trick. It keeps your hands busy while you\u2019re making something useful. Or try a facial mask and just relax for a few minutes while listening to some good gospel music. That\u2019s a tune-up that\u2019s good for the body and the soul!<\/p>\n
